Frank, One of the problems with the Users Guide is that over the life of a version of Legacy, the program is updated with new or enhanced features and the Users Guide quickly gets out-of-date due to the changes in the program (it doesn't make good business sense to dump the Users Guides we have in stock and get new ones reprinted with every build <g>). Because of this, the Help files are always more up-to-date than the Users Guide.
BTW, Dave is the one who writes the Users Guide and Help file, not Ken - and they're *both* on the top of the "good guy" list (not just saying that because I work for them - I thought this long before I started working for Millennia <rbg>). I think the manual is the pits. Their philosophy is that "HELP" should be the primary source of information. Unless they have changed the manual, there aare items in it where they do a complete copout and refer you to "HELP" for the information. I think a manual should be totally self sufficient so that you can take it to the doctors office or barber shop to study while you wait. I havenn't been able to determine what use the manual is at all when parts of it aren't even written. If you want a manual, I'll be glad to send you mine FREE. Incidentally, the video tape is helpful but not all that great either. HELP and the LUG are best. And when all else fails try a gal in Australia (Cathy - I've lost her address but she's on the lists frequently).
