I have been fighting with columns in the event notes for a few days now . . . the columns are winning. I can't keep them straight. I read Legacy's archived messages relating to aligning columns, and they weren't much help. Some of the messages were old, and yet the problem remains. One person said something about buying a CD that would explain it, but . . . he or she didn't bother to tell anyone how to do it. Changing the font was said to fix it, but that changes the whole look of the report, and to be honest, I didn't try that because I'd like to find another option if I can.
The bottom line is, I have a lot of census data to enter in the events, and I'm entering them the way Legacy recommends to enter the list of names,(in columns.) Never-the-less, I don't want to go any further with entering the information in columns until I can solve the problem. I'd like to be able to keep the columns lined up straight, - in all the reports and views if possible. I hope someone out there has the answer.
