Although the calendar display stops at 1700 you can enter dates as far
back as 6000 BC ! Legacy will accurately handle the move from Julian
to Gregorian dates and you can optionally have it show two years
("double date") for the overlap period. Search help for Dates for more
details. If you want to determine the day of a particular date prior
to 1700, use the Date Calculator tab of the Calendar function.
