I have my ancestry and my wife's in the same file. That file contains people who are supported by reasonable evidence. I have what I call my "Master" file where I put new discoveries and best guesses. Evidence for these people starts with just a best guess or secondary information from another researcher. As good evidence for these folks is found they are moved into the family file. My Master file over the years has become a one name study for Winfrey and variant spellings and other folks in our lines.
