Be sure to use Acid Free page protectors to keep your documents from
deteriorating over time. The ones in bulk at office supply stores are not
acid free. You will need to purchase them from a store that sell
scrapbooking supplies.

I haven't utilized the file id# within Legacy yet, but am doing a major
overhaul of my sources including re-filing them all. I am interested in
using the file id# feature and plan to put each source document in a
plastic
protector and stick a sticker to it with the file id# on it.
