It's based on Access 2000.  And for those who are thinking about opening the
Family File in Access, I strongly recommend that you do a backup first or
open a copy of your file!

Legacy's underlying database is an MS Access database. You can open it in MS
Access. Simply change *.mdb on the Open dialog to *.fdb. But be very careful
... and be sure to make a backup first.

P.S. I'm not sure what version of Access you need to open a Legacy database.
But if you have a recent version (no more than a year or two old) you should
be ok.
