Hi Paula,

Yes, I do use emails as sources then tag them until I have documentation
that confirms data gleaned from the emails. I also treat them the same
as far as storing them in my system. I definitely print the emails that
are more directly related to my research as in dead on target so to
speak. Others that I am unsure of, I do not print however, I do file
them in a subfolder as [email: unsure of data] to the main email folder
and list them in excel as "no" to the sourced question but I do list any
surnames within the email. You never know, sometime down the road when I
am conducting a surname query when I get MS Access programmed just
right, one of those unsure emails may pop up in the query results. I can
always print it out then at that time if I desire to. If that happens, I
can always move the email over to the main email file and update excel
or access (whichever program I am using at that time as such. One thing
about using excel until I get Access just right is that you can do a
find item in the Excel spreadsheet, it just moves you down the list one
at a time showing you all the ones with a particular surname. I tired to
set it to search them all at once but it became too confused and found
none. This is why I feel it will be better in the end to program a
source database in MS Access.

Hope this helped some.
Andrea

Andrea,
This is awesome! You have given me hope that "catching up" can actually
be
achieved! ;)

Do you have emails as sources? Do you print them (after burned on CD
and
entered in Legacy)? For what purpose?

Thanks,
