I was referring to the default view. If you set the default view to list the marriages in the order they belong, the children will be displayed in order.
As soon as you change the spouse, then the children that belong to that spouse show first...that is expected. I don't think it ever lists 1/2 children first before the children of the natural parents even if they are older Donna -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Cathy Sent: June 28, 2005 6:58 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [LegacyUG] Sort half siblings by DOB in Family View That's not quite right. It depends which marriage is in focus. The children of the current marriage sort to the top and then 1/2 children are shown. Remember that this is just one view of your data. You CAN make it look right in one sense in family view by attaching the 1/2 kids to each relevant marriage, using "child status" and/or "relationship to father/mother" and turning off 1/2 kids - BUT that will make a mess of most reports. Take a look in Chronology view for the relevant parent and you'll find the kids in the right chronological order - or look at reports.
