Well, the Legacy.lng file is a language file. Did you, or have
you run Legacy in a language other than english? If that is the
case perhaps Legacy is looking for the "foreign" language file.
In your Legacy directory there should be a file, language.usr. It
is text so you can open it in Notepad. In that file is the
language Legacy uses as the default. If that file contains
something other than English you may not have installed the
language it is looking for when you did the reinstall.
You mention is a later message that you have had previous
versions installed in other places. It may be that Legacy is
looking for the Legacy.lng in those locations an cannot find it
because the latest install is in a different location. You do say
however that the Legacy.lng file seems to be missing. Have you
done a search of "My Computer" with the search subdirectories
option on?
Hope some of this helps.

Last night I downloaded the quick version of the Legacy program but that
didn't work so I downloaded and replaced my Legacy program and that seemed
to be working fine last night but when I opened the program this morning I
can't open it and get the same message
Legacy.Ing is missing again.
Help please ?
