Don't be frightened off. Legacy is the best genealogy program there is. New
features all the time and the support is responsive.

I've been accumulating the user group e-mails to read over and try to
decide
if I want to purchase Legacy. The amount of problems is rather scary
compared to the program I have been using. I guess my mind is made up now
;-)

In my case, I am getting two IGI Source Detail records for a SINGLE
event. Is that normal?

My assumption has always been that if there is ANY difference in the 2
source listings that they will show as different sources. Could be a
space
or a comma or a sentence. Computers aren't bright enough to see two
'different' things as the same...it would be nice to be able to merge
sources though, like people and locations...can you?

Bruce,
This has always happened to me also, but I presume it is just the
nature of the program, and not a mistake. I cleaned up the sources
after doing the downloading. I have the Feb version of Legacy Deluxe
5.
Anyone else have a different experience?
