In a 'previous life', I had the same code and the same server respond
differently for different browsers.  As I remember, it was Netscape--does 
that dates me?
Perhaps they have fixed the problem.  (only to have it resurface on
servers...?)

Its not the browsers, but the web *servers* that can be case and space
sensitive.
