None that I can see. I think this feature is on other applications, people
have seen it, liked it, used it, etc., that they want Legacy to also have
it. I use the location field for this. I know it is meant for city, county,
state, country (or whatever your preferred format is), but you can put
street addresses here and I have. I already use it for Born, Baptised, Died,
Buried, Married, and a few divorces.

Subject: RE: FW: [LegacyUG] Local site field

What would be the advantages of this over using the address fields?

P. S. Check out Legacy Family Tree today!
This full featured genealogy program can be downloaded FREE at

Is Legacy ever going to include a Local Site field as is included in some
other genealogy software programs?

This is linked to the Place field, and is where you can enter something
like: Mercy Hospital, 111 Smith Street. In reports it then is rendered:
Mercy Hospital, 111 Smith Street, Anytown.

It should be available for all events including Born, Baptised, Died, Buried
and Married.

I am sure this is one wish that many other users would share.
