Jack has clarified that the records from the GRO are civil records. As for
the use of the GRO as a source like Ron does, may I suggest that you use the
GRO as a repository as they do have several different types for records.  I
wouldn't use NARA as a source but rather the repository where the source was
found.
Some times our list of sources does get long but I also like to be able to
see who is attached to the source under "Show List" and while you will get a
list of the people who have a record from the GRO you won't know from the
list which ones come from the same source, because the details aren't
included.
