This does not always work. I am checking this out at the moment. On my Legacy screen I have a person listed as born "Abt 1720" with no death date, but the Living flag is checked to "No". This is what I sent to RootsWeb. RootsWeb does not list the person in my index, it only lists the person as "Living".
I don't know if this is a feature that used to be in Legacy and now has been dropped, or if RootsWeb is doing something different, but I need to add the word "deceased" or something like that in order for it to work.
