Location methods for Legacy need to be tested with transfers to other
applications the user might want to use for web sites and wall charts. I do
not use Master Locations due to the lack of counties in my main research
area. Legacy adds place holder commas that are exported in GEDCOMs and may
show in addon applications like Companion and TreeDraw with different output
options than Legacy 6 itself.

"Probably" in a preposition file for Legacy reports would be okay but would
result in a definite-looking location if the GEDCOM was imported by a
different software program.

Brackets, font formatting and privacy codes need to be tested in specific
kinds of file transfers. Sometimes data the file owner intends to keep is
cut short omitted.

There are several methods. You can preface the location with "probably" if
you
want, but you should then add the word "probably" to the
Preposition_English.lst file. I use this method.

Glen's suggestion also works.

Another convention that is frequently used is putting <...> around the
location (this is mentioned in the Legacy Help file under Location: Format,
Sorting).
