Hi Linda
Good question that I solved in what I hope is a very simple way
When the Geo location first came out, I went through EVERY location in my data base, even my home location which is Sacramento, Sacramento, California, USA now that assures me that this location was checked against the Geo Location List. When I am not totally sure of the location I make my entry like this Sacramento, Sacramento, CA [ no USA tells me that I have not checked it against the Geo Location list]. Another thing that I do is to do the add a fact so that I can add the words probably or John Doe was from ,, NY The only flaw that I see in my way is when I submit my data to the Internet or send it to a person who requests any of my data. But, so far it works for me.
Hope that helps [or is as clear as mud]

Love, Light, Rainbows & Blessings

Subject: [LegacyUG] possible location

Can someone tell me how they enter a location when one is not sure that the
place is correct. I have several places where I have put "probably" after
the location, but it doesn't work with the way Legacy uses the location
field. I have used brackets on occasion, but that requires an explanation. I
hate to leave it blank when I am relatively sure that it's correct. Thanks
for any advice.
