I have asked this question before but have not gotten an answer... Before the advent of this field, we were told to actually include the preposition as part of the location itself.
Ex. near Homer, Champaign, Illinois At the same time we were told to add the prepositions we used to Preposition.lst (or now Preposition_English.lst) so things would sort properly. Now we have this new preposition field. Was this intended to replace the old method? What is the advantage of using the preposition field as opposed to the old method? As you can guess, I haven't started using the preposition field because I unclear of its purpose. -- Dennis M.
