I like Legacy just the way it is -- Everything under one directory, with sub-directories for data, pictures etc, and NOT program under program files, and data somewhere else. It makes backups a cinch, for a start - just copy the Legacy directory to CD or DVD, as is, and you've got the lot -- no need to go unting on diffrerent disks or paritions for buits of data you may have forgotten. Having pictures in a picture directory means you can put them in different reports without having to have speapare copies kept with each individual's data -- Codd's ;aw and all that. When you do a report, they ARE embedded. -- Steve Hayes E-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Web: http://www.geocities.com/hayesstw/stevesig.htm Phone: 083-342-3563 or 012-333-6727 Legacy User Group guidelines can be found at: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp To find past messages, please go to our searchable archives at: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup%40mail.millenniacorp.com/ To unsubscribe please visit: http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/LegacyLists.asp
