Hi Elsie,

I don't think you are doing anything wrong. Hospital, church and cemetery names I include in the address fields. The note fields I use for additional information only.

Because I need access to the index references for bmd's these I put in General Research Notes as they are more accessible.

Best wishes

Ron Ferguson

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Birth, Marriage, Death vs Events

I'm sorry to be such a pest. I don't understand why the birth, baptism, marriage, death, burial fields are different than Events. With the events, I can easily enter an event, fill in the desc, date, and place to have an accurate visible bit of information. With the birth field, I don't understand how I would enter a hospital name (birth desc or death desc) ..or a cemetery (burial desc). If I put this info in the notes, it's not visible in the Family View. What am I doing wrong?
Elsie
