Renee,

Is she sure it's frozen? The rg.dat is a really large file. Since she's on
dial-up it could take some time to download.

She should probably select the "Download full setup" option to download from
our website and install that rather than install from within Legacy or use
the "Install from the Web" setup. That way she won't have to worry about a
corrupted install.

Thanks for using Legacy.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Update freezes while downloading

A friend of mine has a problem downloading the new updates. (Well actually
it was the previous one before this current one.) When she clicks on the
link it takes several tries to get the link to even open/start. Then when
she is at 3% download it stops - it's at the C:\Legacy\RG.dat that it stops.
I've sat and watched it in Windows Task Manager and it's always at this same
point that it freezes and stops running.

I have done everything I can think of even deleting the program all
associated files with it and then reinstalling. I've disabled the firewalls
and spyware and nothing seems to change this fact. Anyone know what's wrong
and how to fix it? She has dialup service.
