Dave, Do you have dual monitors?? This is the first I've heard of the window off to the side. Generally a complete uninstall and reinstall solves the problem. Maybe Liz could try deleting the Legacy2.usr file from the main Legacy folder and then seeing if that solves the problem - would you do that please Liz?

I recently had a problem with Legacy apparently freezing and the problem (solved by Ken McGinnis) was a window that was off-screen. So what could be happening is that your Name List window is opening off-screen and taking the focus away from the windows that you see. Try this . . . click on the Name List icon, then hold down the Alt key and press the space bar. If a menu appears click on Move and use the cursor keys to bring the Name List window back onto your screen. If a menu doesn't appear, press the M key and see if your mouse pointer changes to a 4-pointed cross. If so then use the cursor keys to bring the Name List back onto your screen.
