I've had it and solved it with Ken McGinnis' help. I believe you'll find the problem is caused by the Alarm window being off-screen so you don't see the active window. Try this . . . set the Alarm to go off, then when Legacy "freezes" hold down the Alt key and press the space bar. If a menu appears click on Move and use the cursor keys to bring the Alarm window back onto your screen. If a menu doesn't appear, press the M key and see if your mouse pointer changes to a 4-pointed cross. If so then use the cursor keys to bring the Name List back onto your screen. Note: this problem can occur with any window and with other programs if the window gets pushed too far to the screen borders.
