In my experience that printer running symbol keeps going until you
nominate a name for the file.

Yesterday I asked how long it should take Legacy to produce an RTF file.
I'd left it running with that little picture of the printer producing pages
flat our for half an hour, and still no file.
I had two private replies from people who thought it must be something to do
with my printer settings.
Printer settings?
Legacy should be able to produce an RTF file without a printer even being
connected. For a long time I didn't have a printer connected. I used to print
to PDF and e-mail them to my wife who printed them at work.
And, as I said, it produced a PDF file from the same data in less than half a
minute.
But when I tried to get it to print an RTF file, so I could edit it, it still
had not produced anything after three hours. Next time I'll leave it running
overnight, but I really would appreciate an answer from the Legacy support
people -- how long should it take Legacy to produce an RTF file of about 130
pages?
