Hi Steve Seems a bit strange, I've just set up and rtf report - 120 pages and it took seconds to work.
Check your settings to ensure the appropriate word processor is selected (options/customise/launch) Then I selected book reports, descendant narrative, clicked on the rtf report option, Create (top right) gave the report a name when the pop up box asked me to and hey presto, after a very short time, the report was available for me to edit in Word. Is your report freezing at a specific name/number? -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
