Subject: What to do with WFT Est dates when cleaning up files for import
Hello,
I am working with a file that was imported into Legacy 6, (ver 6.0.0.81,
with a build date of 9 Feb 2006), from a GEDCOM file and noticed that it
has
a lot of the dates are in the format for World Family Tree estimates such
as
"WFT Est 1565/1599" . I want to clean up this file before I merge it into
my
master file. Do you have any suggestions on how to treat these dates?
Since
they are Estimated dates would deleting them make sense or should I just
do
a search and replace?
The WFT dates are creating a lot of potential problems in the potential
problem report as it looks like the program is having a rough time of
calculating with these types of dates.
Thank you for a great product.
