Folks, I received the following from Rodney last night, and he asked me to forward it on to the group.
Dermot. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Rodney Hall <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: 04-Apr-2006 17:12 Subject: RE: [LegacyUG] Use of CSS files in generating HTML pages To: Dermot McGlone <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Hello Dermot, I am replying direct as I cannot get my mail into the group for the last week or so, for some strange reason. :o( Maybe you could copy this to the group? I use CSS on my site, but although there have been many requests to get Legacy to allow added statements in the <head> </head> section, we still have to insert them 'manually' afterwards. I use Dreamweaver and have a text file to record all such 'manual' changes, which I can do easily enough in bulk, using Dreamweaver. The CSS tag I use, for example, is:- <link rel=STYLESHEET type="text/css" href="../../codes/gen.css"> </head> The URL is http://rmhh.co.uk/tree/sub/1.html if you want to see the result. The graphics for headers etc and the menu coding is also inserted in the same way as the CSS statements.
