Hi Rob,
What I do in this situation is to invent a partner "unknown" and under
Marriage Information check the box "This couple never married".
One thing to watch though is the order of the two "marriages". To set them
correctly I invent a date for the unknown marriage, earlier than the true
marriage, and then sort the marriages. Having done that I delete the date of
the unknown marriage. I also delete the "spouse name" (unknown) to leave a
blank.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Children before marriage
Date: Sun, 9 Apr 2006 15:58:14 +0200
Hi,
I am ahving a liitle problem to get output the way I want it to be. It
concerns a wife that has (and lost...) some children before marriage.
Yes, I am ashamed to admit :-)) What I have done so far is to enter
the children with the knonw mother and a unknown father.
Output generated now gives something (I am not sure about the English
as I am using a translated version, but you will understand).
===========================
Sue born etc.....
Sue married.
Children from this relation.....
===============================
I was able to change the line 'Sue married'. In something like 'Sue
had children'. But direct after that line I do not know how to remove
the line that refers to relation (or marriage).
What I really want is:
==========================
Sue, born.....
Sue had children (before marriage).
1. Pete
2. Marc.
Sue married George......etc.
>From this marriage:
1. Bill
===========================
I am using Legacy 5 DeLuxe.
Can anyone help,
Rob Vader
