Hi Cathy,

Thanks for that - I have now got it to work as you say, although I'm not absolutely certain I did it exactly the same way. On the Marriage Information Screen for the unknown father I deleted all references to marriage and spouses etc and all came out OK.

One point though. In the report it says "Martha had a child". In fact Martha had three before she got married! The report continues "Her children were". I guess if I looked hard enough I would find a way round this though.

Will have to see how this comes out on web pages now!

Ron Ferguson

Hi Ron,
This, I believe, is what Rob wants
Straight from the Descendant Book Report in Legacy 6

The only change I made from defaults was in the Marriage Information screen for the first relationship I put for the 2nd <married> instead of <next married>

4. Alison Joy XXXX [257] ("Bill" ) was born on 6 Sep xxxx in Perth, WA, Australia.

Alison had a child.

Her child was:
10 F i. Amanda XXXX [852] was born on 16 Feb xxxx in Harvey, WA, Australia.

Alison married John SMITH [11072] [MRIN: 4573] in xxxx.

The child from this marriage was:
11 M i. Tony SMITH [11073]
