Hi Cynthia:
You should feel very good about the immediate response you got from
so many of our members trying to help you with your label problems. I have
only been a Legacy Deluxe user for about two months, so I do not know
anything about the "Label" feature. One thing that comes to mind though, is
if there might be some way you could email your reunion list to Geoff and
let him print out all the labels for you and even send them to your reunion
people. You could reimburse Geoff for the assistance and still get to
California on time. If I knew how to do labels, I would gladly do that for
you! Geoff seems to be able to do anything with these Legacy-use problems
and could likely help you. If he is worried about the reimbursement, this
email will let him know I will guarantee it!
You have done an amazing job trying to get the labels finished by your
deadline. It shows how conscientious you are! We have a feeling everything
is going to work out okay for you! We love you!

Subject: [LegacyUG] Address Label problem
Hello,
I am working on getting out over 1,100 labels for our reunion in June. In
the Address Section I have ticked the TAG in the lower right corner and
selected that
I go to Reports>All Reports>Address Labels>
Who to Print:
Address Type - Mailing Addresses
Sort Order - Address Name
Categories to Print - none checked
Checked - include only tagged addresses
Who to Print:Name, Address 1, Address2, City, St, Postal - all is well
Label Type:Avery 8660 which I have chosen on Label Type
The Preview shows 143 pages! Yet, there is a very peculiar pattern for the
label positions, as the pages should hold 30 addresses per page, but that is
not the case. Here is the pattern:
PAGE:
1 28 labels
2 1 label
3 1 label
4 blank
5 28 labels
6 1 label
7 1 label
8 blank
9 28 labels
10 1 label
11 1 label
12 blank
13 28 labels
14 1 label
15 1 label
16 blank
I have closed out Legacy, closed down my PC, and now I am asking for help
with this problem. I need to have the labels printed and in the mail by
Monday when I leave for California.
And, I need to have step by step directions in order to follow along,
please. I have Legacy Deluxe 5.0.0.256 with a build date of 20 Jan 2006, the
latest update.
Thank you,
Cynthia Russell
