Bruce, Did you start your Legacy file with a GEDCOM from a different genealogy program? Some people move parts of general notes to event notes in Legacy. Decide early in a Legacy project if you want general notes, event sentences or listed events.
Legacy group sheets cannot be saved as RTF for page breaks added in a word processor. Lines between events without event notes make Legacy group sheets look more like pre-printed forms than pages for a family book. Spacing and event sentence wording for all Legacy reports needs to be considered during data entry or editing following a GEDCOM import. There is an option to "single space children" but not to single space events in a descendant report. Some Legacy files are planned with basic events and biography-style general notes. Others are planned with events to use the chronology feature and to allow event pictures in reports. -- Elizabeth ----- Original Message ----- [about Family Group Sheet] From: "Bruce I would like the General Notes for the Husband and Wife to each start on a new page. As it is, the Husband's General Notes starts right after the completion of the children's information and the Wife's General Notes starts right after the Husband's General Notes.
