Thanks for pointing out this interesting feature. I don't think that this
is exactly what I'm looking for - for one thing, it would mean switching all
couples in the database, but I've found that you can't use it on
individuals, and what I'm trying to do is have the male individuals
automatically appear on the right hand side.

You can switch male/female sides in the family view if you go to Edit on
the
Legacy main menu and select "swap husband and wife. The only problem is
that you will change gender and you will appear as the female with your
spouse as the male. But otherwise the data is for the wife on the left
side
and for the husband on the right side. On the other hand it will save you
a
lot of medical costs to change your gender this way! :-)
