Not speaking to IE 7 particularly, but IE...sadly, if you want to be able to
use the links to Ancestry, and save files as JPEGs, not GIFs, so far IE
seems to be a requirement.  Silly programmer/product manager choices at
Ancestry; they need Direct-X for the viewer that does jpegs. <sigh.>

Legacy certainly works nicely with Firefox - thank you programmers and
product folks for that one. Now if you have any pull with your buddies at
Ancestry... *g*

With all those "others", why do you feel the need for IE 7? Isn't it still
in the BETA ( 2 ) phase?

Thanks, Myrna, I have Firefox, Netscape, Opera, MSN and IE, all of which
have their good and bad points. However in this instance I merely wish to
know if problems which I seem to remember were associated with IE 7 and
Legacy have been sorted before I upgrade.
