Not speaking to IE 7 particularly, but IE...sadly, if you want to be able to use the links to Ancestry, and save files as JPEGs, not GIFs, so far IE seems to be a requirement. Silly programmer/product manager choices at Ancestry; they need Direct-X for the viewer that does jpegs. <sigh.>
Legacy certainly works nicely with Firefox - thank you programmers and product folks for that one. Now if you have any pull with your buddies at Ancestry... *g* Stan Young -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of dlks Sent: Tuesday, April 18, 2006 13:27 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Internet Explorer Version 7 Ron With all those "others", why do you feel the need for IE 7? Isn't it still in the BETA ( 2 ) phase? ronald ferguson Tue, 18 Apr 2006 08:19:48 -0700 Thanks, Myrna, I have Firefox, Netscape, Opera, MSN and IE, all of which have their good and bad points. However in this instance I merely wish to know if problems which I seem to remember were associated with IE 7 and Legacy have been sorted before I upgrade.
