Maybe this is a question for Support.
When I transfer a Legacy report to Word for editing, I find the endnotes are
not coded as in Word (although Table of Contents and Indexes are). Therefore
endnotes cannot be added in the editing process. That is, an added endnote
won't change the subsequent numbering of endnotes appropriately in Source
Citations. Is there any way the coding could be changed to that used by
Word.
