In the article entitled "How to record subsequent marriages" at http://legacynews.typepad.com/legacy_news/2006/04/subsequent_rema.html, I gave an explanation to Rene's question. However, it appears that I didn't read the question correctly, as the phrasing of the question was a bit ambiguous, as Peter stated in one of the comments.
So, here's my question to the list. If a couple married, divorced, and then remarried to each other later in life, how do you record this? I can see recording this in one of two ways: 1) In the marriage information screen, create a new event with the name of "Remarriage", then fill in the details. 2) Add a new spouse to the husband, but link him to the same women, thus creating two marriages, two family group records, and two MRINs. This might be the way to go, especially if the couple had additional children during their second marriage. What are your thoughts?
