I would like to know about using color coding for different branches. I have a database with one immigrant ancestor, paternal, from whom there are now over 14,000 individuals. This man had 8 children, all are first-born-in-America and I am considering using the color coding, one for each of the branches. Feedback please. Yes, I work on all 8 branches and am currently looking up and transcribing all census records for each of the 14,000+ persons.
