Hi Ron,
My main database has 26,000 individuals, mostly imported from PAF. The PAF
status of twin, adopted, etc. were not imported into Legacy and in the year
since I've been using Legacy I've never entered anything into CS so they are
all blank. My tblCS has only Legacy default values, no triplets or higher.
When I run your querys on my main fdb I get 232 individuals. It would take
me a month to fix this in Legacy. When I try to edit CS in your second query
I get message "This recordset is not updateable". I'm using Access 2000. I
was able to add "Triplet" in tblCS.
I like that I see quadruple entries for single birth for people with natural
AND adopted parents. These few I can fix the CS in Legacy. The enormous
number of actual twins I would really prefer to correct CS in Access if
possible.
Thank you,

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Using Access to find twins, triplets, etc.
Because the child status numbers may differ from one database to another,
you will have to first determine which is right for you and then use
Access to set those. When there are only a few, it is easier to just
enter them on the second query. You may need to set up the child statuses
in Legacy first.
My tblCS has the following
IDCS Child Status
46 Twin
65 Triplet
61 Twin Stillborn
and there are several others. I included the child status in the query so
that you could see whether the multiple births were already correctly
indicated.
