Once you have imported the document into Word, click on File -> Save As
and Save it as a Word document (same name, just a .doc extension

Close and reopen the Word version.

Move the cursor to the end of the document (Ctrl-End)

Press <ENTER> a couple of times to make some space

Clicl on Insert --> Index & Table of Contents --> Index

Freview the formats and pick one you like

Click OK

There's your index.
