Anybody got some spare parts lying around? Looking for a working pull from a G4 Quicksilver, 933MHz single or better (up to/inclusive of the 1.0GHz dual).
I'm not looking to break the bank, so looking for something inexpensive (below $100 for sure, lower still on single processors). MUST be compatible with Quicksilver models, so would have to be either a pull from another Quicksilver or a third-party unit (such as Sonnett). Mirrored-Drive Door units will NOT work in a Quicksilver! My machine (stickered as a 933MHz model) had a 1GHz DP inside when I acquired it from a surplus auction, but the previous user burnt-out one (or both) of the processors, rendering the board useless. I have a complete 800MHz Quicksilver '02 tower (minus RAM and hard drive) that I might be willing to trade if you prefer.
