I am searching for a MacBook Pro 15" topcase to the *first* Core 2 Duos. While eBay lists *many*, they are all for the second gen. Core 2 Duos (with full multitouch). Those aren't compatible with my original MBP Core 2 Duo.
Please email with prices. Alternatively, if someone has the AppleUSBTopCase.kext file for the early 2008 MacBook Pro Core2 Duos (15") and was willing to email it to me, (version 1.8 or later, I believe), that could solve my problem as well, as I'm told by a Mac support technician it is almost certainly an extensions issue.
