Supports CIFS and AppleTalk. Last firmware date is 2008. I used CIFS and SFTP from my Macs, so I don't know if the AppleTalk works with the later MacOS X versions. I didn't try to use Time Machine with it - so I have no idea if that would be successful. I replaced it with an 8TB NAS.
