Up for sale is a 15" Mid 2010 MacBook Pro for parts or repair. This unit has suffered from a liquid spill. HD has been removed as well as the optical drive, missing the bottom case screws. Main issue is that the backlight is out on the LCD. I am not able to determine if this is an LCD issue or a logic board issue. Maybe both? Or a Cable? The unit turns on, boots, chimes, and will load an OS and run via external KB, mouse, and monitor. My gut feeling is that it is the logic board and that the display is perfectly fine, but I don't have another unit to test with. Battery is in great shape with low charge cycles Asking $220 shipped or make an offer.
