Up for sale is a 15" Mid 2010 MacBook Pro for parts or repair. This unit has suffered from a liquid spill. HD has been removed as well as the optical drive, ram, and it is missing the bottom case screws. Main issue is that the backlight is out on the LCD. I am not able to determine if this is an LCD issue, cable issue, or a logic board issue. The main point of contact from the liquid was right on the LVDS connector at the logic board. The unit turns on, boots, chimes, and will load an OS and run via external KB, mouse, and monitor. My gut feeling is that it is the logic board that is bad and that the display is perfectly fine, but I don't have another unit to test with. Battery is in great shape with low charge cycles Asking $220 shipped or make an offer.
