(Two deals for this fell through, so I’m re-listing) I recently shuffled around my storage setup, and have an extra enclosure I no longer need. This has been a trouble-free workhorse in the 6 months that it was in use, but it is simply no longer needed due to my changing storage needs. Worked great at different times with a Mini, a new Mac Pro and a Macbook Pro. USB 3 was the only interface I used and it worked very well at USB 3 speeds. It does have an internal fan, but you can select the speed you would like it to use…on the lowest setting, it is reasonably quiet and can be used in close proximity to the rest of your gear with no significant increase in apparent noise. It also has a power sync function that can set it to go to sleep when your computer goes to sleep. Very nice device for the money!
