Hi All,

I wanted to try to use LCP Creator with RawTherapee, however it doesn't support manual lenses for chromatic aberration, and I didn't realize that lensfun was supported by rawtherapee, its kind of hidden.

However, I put together a nice checkerboard chart. I tried using it with hugin's calibrate lens and it didn't quite work. I also tried some grid lines from my go board no luck.

I wonder what would be a good calibration chart for hugin's lens calibrate GUI? Concentric rectangles, but I could find any ready-to-go chart out there.

I got to thinking about even concentric rectangles might not be so great, because it assumes that you have straight lines in the image to find in the first place.

I tried the lcp convert to convert my lcp files however, it gets stuck in an endless loop and observably it seems like a half baked utility to convert an entire database, not a one by one lens conversion utility.

Any ideas for a calibration chart, a way to use checker boards, or a conversion algorithm( I think I would be relatively happy with a guide on how to manually copy numbers from one xml to another for my collection of lenses.)

In the past I used those charts from Bob Atkins, but I had to run the algorithm a bunch of times, and it was kind of a gestimate in the end, most of the lines were just noise.

Sincerely yours,

Robin
