It is desired, yes, but it should be done in a way that won't prevent multiple selection. The current drag+drop is really not that useful (as long as user knows about tree cut + tree paste), so it might help to seriously think about use cases before blindly implementing it "just to match tk ui". For example, if the use case is easily creating clones, we could just make it easier to create clones (ctrl + drag -> clone here). -- Ville M.
