Well, a lot if done right:-).

Using gvim with python scripting enabled, it should be possible to
send outline navigation command to Leo from gvim, (likely bound to
TL's cntl-h,j,k,l).  The currents node's body text could be passed to
and displayed in a appropriately named vim buffer without using files,
and Leo's value for that nodes body text could be updated from changes
to that buffer.
