The commit comment for Rev 4599 is: support @ignore in @commands and @buttons trees
I hoped this implied that @ignore should affect "local command" definitions in outline files, but this probably was not the intention because in Rev 4611, @ignore has no affect on "local command" definitions. Also, you can define "local commands" in @buttons trees and outside of @buttons trees, in @settings trees and outside of @settings trees. That is, @buttons and @settings seem to be completely ignored in outline files. Is this how it should be? Yes, by this point I have noticed that the commit comment says in @commands and @button trees--and since both @commands and @buttons are ignored in outline files, it follows that the change in Rev 4599 does not affect outline files. My question is about consistency, user expectations, and designer intentions. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "leo-editor" group.
