Responding on the comments, though: what Chris, Terry, et al. sounds like it could be valuable, but I was thinking about something more interactive. Suppose the outline you're managing in Leo is only part of an .odt, and suppose you want/need to move back and forth between editing content and doing document formatting. That's why I mentioned PyUNO. Maybe a Leo plugin?
