Probably not - I know there was a launchpad bug to use the QCompleter with dynamic abbreviation expansions, https://bugs.launchpad.net/leo-editor/+bug/1141122 which is what sprang to mind, but seeing I just do a local monkey patch to get that behavior, I guess that's not it.
