Thanks Edward, I tried that and got further than I did 2 weeks ago.  "pip 
install leo" apparently works but when I then type  "leo" I get
Can not load the requested gui: qt
Then when I try "pip install qt" I get "ERROR: No matching distribution 
found for qt".  What am I missing?
